Responsibilities
- Design and implement microservices architecture using AWS/GCP with 99.9% uptime SLAs
- Mentor junior engineers through code reviews and architectural workshops
- Optimize system performance for 10K+ concurrent users using Redis/Kafka
- Lead CI/CD pipeline automation using Jenkins and Terraform
- Contribute to open-source projects and represent company at tech conferences
- Drive security-first development with OWASP standards
- Collaborate with Product teams to translate business requirements into technical specs
Qualifications
- 8+ years experience in distributed systems with Python/Go/Java
- Expertise in container orchestration (Kubernetes/ECS) and serverless
- Proven track record of leading projects from concept to production
- Strong background in event-driven architectures and message queues
- CI/CD mastery with GitLab Actions or CircleCI
- Cloud certifications (AWS/GCP) or equivalent demonstrable expertise
- Experience mentoring engineers in remote environments
- Bachelor's in CS or equivalent practical experience
