Responsibilities
- Architect and develop scalable cloud-native applications using Python, AWS, and Docker
- Lead technical design sessions and mentor junior engineers through pair programming
- Implement CI/CD pipelines and optimize system performance
- Collaborate with product teams to translate requirements into technical specifications
- Conduct code reviews and enforce best practices across the engineering organization
- Debug and resolve complex production issues with minimal supervision
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in software development with 2+ years in remote roles
- Expert proficiency in Python, REST APIs, and relational databases (PostgreSQL)
- AWS certification (Solutions Architect or DevOps Engineer preferred)
- Proven track record of delivering production-ready cloud applications
- Strong problem-solving skills with experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
- Excellent written communication skills for asynchronous collaboration
