Responsibilities
- Keyword Research: Conduct comprehensive keyword research to identify high-value opportunities and optimize content strategies for maximum visibility.
- On-Page Optimization: Execute on-page SEO best practices, including meta tag optimization, heading structure, and internal linking strategies.
- Technical Audits: Perform regular website audits to identify and resolve technical SEO issues that may hinder search engine crawling and indexing.
- Content Strategy: Collaborate with content writers and developers to ensure all content is optimized for both users and search engines.
- Analytics & Reporting: Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) using Google Analytics and Search Console, providing monthly reports on traffic growth and ranking improvements.
- Link Building: Develop and execute ethical link-building campaigns to improve domain authority and domain rating.
Qualifications
- Experience: 2+ years of proven experience in SEO, with a focus on organic search performance.
- Tools: Proficient in using SEO tools such as SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz, or Google Search Console.
- Technical Knowledge: Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, and basic site architecture principles.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Location: Must reside within the United States, with a preference for candidates in New York or North Carolina.
- Self-Motivation: Ability to work independently in a remote environment and manage time effectively.
