Your Role:
As a Remote Transcriptionist, you will be responsible for converting various audio formats into clear, accurate text documents. You will work closely with our quality assurance team to ensure all output meets our high standards.
Responsibilities
- Listen to audio files and transcribe content with high accuracy and speed.
- Format transcripts according to specific client style guides.
- Proofread all work to correct grammar, punctuation, and spelling errors.
- Meet daily production targets and adhere to strict deadlines.
- Use specialized transcription software and terminology databases effectively.
- Maintain confidentiality of all sensitive client information.
- Communicate effectively with team leads regarding technical issues or complex audio.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Minimum typing speed of 60 WPM with a 98% accuracy rate.
- Fluent in English (written and spoken).
- Reliable, high-speed internet connection and a dedicated workspace.
- Previous transcription experience is preferred but not required.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
