Responsibilities
- Transcribe complex medical/legal audio recordings with 98%+ accuracy
- Adhere to strict confidentiality protocols for sensitive patient/client data
- Format documents according to client specifications (AMA, Bluebook, etc.)
- Utilize advanced editing tools to enhance audio clarity and speech recognition
- Meet tight deadlines while maintaining consistent quality standards
- Collaborate with quality assurance team for continuous improvement
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years professional transcription experience (medical/legal preferred)
- Proven typing speed of 85+ WPM with 98% accuracy
- Familiarity with industry-specific terminology (HIPAA, legal terminology)
- Exceptional listening skills and ability to decipher diverse accents
- Proficiency in ExpressScribe, Dragon, or equivalent transcription software
- High-speed reliable internet connection and quiet home office
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights/weekends when needed
