- Adhere to HIPAA compliance protocols for patient data security
- Utilize specialized software for audio playback and document formatting
- Research and verify medical terminology, medications, and procedures
- Meet daily productivity targets while maintaining quality benchmarks
- Collaborate with editors to resolve discrepancies in complex cases
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of medical transcription experience
- Certified Medical Transcriptionist (CMT) or equivalent credential
- Exceptional typing speed (85+ WPM) with 98% accuracy
- Advanced knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and pharmacology
- Proficiency in EHR systems and transcription software (e.g., Express Scribe)
