Responsibilities
- Transcribe audio recordings with 99%+ accuracy across medical, legal, and corporate domains
- Adhere to strict confidentiality protocols and HIPAA compliance standards
- Format documents according to client specifications and style guides
- Utilize Express Scribe and other industry-standard transcription tools
- Meet daily productivity targets while maintaining quality standards
- Research and clarify complex terminology through specialized databases
- Perform quality checks on completed transcripts before submission
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years professional transcription experience
- Proven typing speed of 80+ WPM with exceptional accuracy
- Familiarity with medical terminology (CMT preferred)
- Advanced proficiency in Express Scribe and Microsoft Office Suite
- High-speed reliable internet connection and quiet home office
- Ability to manage deadlines and prioritize multiple assignments
- Strong command of English grammar, punctuation, and style
- U.S. citizenship or valid work authorization required
