Responsibilities
- Accurately transcribe audio recordings across medical, legal, and general business domains
- Adhere to strict confidentiality protocols and HIPAA compliance standards
- Utilize specialized transcription software and digital foot pedals
- Meet daily/weekly productivity targets while maintaining 98%+ accuracy
- Format documents according to client specifications (style guides)
- Research and clarify specialized terminology in consultation with clients
- Submit completed transcripts through quality control systems
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years professional transcription experience
- Proficiency in typing 75+ words per minute with 98% accuracy
- Familiarity with medical/legal terminology and industry standards
- Reliable high-speed internet and quiet home workspace
- Ability to use ExpressScribe, InqScribe, or equivalent software
- Strong command of English grammar and punctuation
- Self-motivated with exceptional time management skills
- US citizenship or permanent residency required
