Responsibilities
- Transcribe audio/video recordings with 98%+ accuracy across healthcare, legal, and corporate sectors
- Adhere to strict confidentiality protocols and HIPAA/GDPR compliance standards
- Format transcripts according to client specifications (MS Word, PDF, etc.)
- Research and resolve unclear terminology using industry-specific resources
- Meet daily/weekly productivity targets while maintaining quality benchmarks
- Collaborate with editors to refine transcripts and implement feedback
- Utilize our secure cloud-based transcription platform and tools
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years professional transcription experience
- Proven typing speed of 75+ WPM with exceptional accuracy
- Familiarity with medical/legal terminology or willingness to obtain certification
- Reliable high-speed internet and quiet home office environment
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite and transcription software (ExpressScribe, etc.)
- Strong time management and self-discipline for remote work
- Excellent command of English grammar, punctuation, and style guides
- Ability to work independently while meeting strict deadlines
