Job Overview:
As a Remote Transcriptionist, you will convert audio files into accurate, verbatim text. You will be responsible for ensuring that every detail is captured correctly while adhering to strict deadlines and quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Listen to audio recordings and transcribe them into written text using appropriate software.
- Proofread and edit transcripts to ensure accuracy in grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
- Adhere to specific client style guides and formatting requirements.
- Manage file conversions (e.g., .wav to .txt) and organize transcripts efficiently.
- Meet daily and weekly productivity and accuracy goals.
- Communicate effectively with team leads regarding complex or unclear audio files.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in transcription (medical, legal, or general).
- Fast and accurate typing speed (minimum 60 WPM).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and transcription software.
