- Adhere to HIPAA compliance standards and maintain strict confidentiality protocols
- Utilize digital transcription software and specialized medical terminology databases
- Meet daily productivity targets while maintaining 98%+ accuracy rates
- Format documents according to client specifications and style guides
- Proofread and edit transcripts for grammar, clarity, and consistency
- Communicate effectively with quality assurance team for feedback implementation
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years professional medical transcription experience
- Proficient in digital transcription software (e.g., Express Scribe, Dragon NaturallySpeaking)
- Strong command of medical terminology and anatomy
- Typing speed of 85+ WPM with 98% accuracy
- Reliable high-speed internet and quiet home workspace
- Ability to manage deadlines and prioritize multiple tasks
- Excellent written communication and attention to detail
- Completion of AHDI-approved transcription program preferred
