- Transcribe medical/legal/audio recordings with 99%+ accuracy
- Adhere to strict confidentiality protocols for sensitive patient/client data
- Format documents according to client specifications and style guides
- Meet daily/weekly productivity targets while maintaining quality standards
- Utilize specialized transcription software and digital tools
- Perform quality self-reviews and edit transcripts as needed
- Communicate effectively with team leads for clarification requirements
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years professional transcription experience
- Proficiency in 65+ words per minute typing speed
- Familiarity with medical terminology or legal terminology
- Expertise in ExpressScribe, Dragon, or similar transcription software
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- High-speed internet connection and quiet home office setup
- Strong attention to detail and error-spotting capabilities
- Excellent command of English grammar and punctuation
