- Meet daily/weekly productivity targets while maintaining quality standards
- Format transcripts according to client specifications (verbatim, edited, etc.)
- Utilize transcription software and cloud-based platforms efficiently
- Adhere to strict confidentiality protocols for sensitive information
- Collaborate with editors to resolve inconsistencies and improve output
- Continuously improve typing speed and technical terminology knowledge
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years professional transcription experience
- Minimum 80 words per minute typing speed with 98% accuracy
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and transcription software (e.g., Express Scribe)
- Exceptional command of English grammar, punctuation, and spelling
- Reliable high-speed internet connection and quiet home workspace
- Ability to manage deadlines and prioritize multiple projects
- Strong attention to detail and active listening skills
- Experience with legal, medical, or technical transcription preferred
