Responsibilities
- Listen to audio recordings and accurately transcribe text into written documents using industry-standard software.
- Proofread and edit transcribed documents to ensure high accuracy and adherence to client formatting requirements.
- Manage multiple files and prioritize tasks to meet strict daily and weekly deadlines.
- Adhere to strict confidentiality agreements and privacy standards regarding sensitive patient or legal data.
- Research unfamiliar medical or legal terminology using provided glossaries and resources.
- Maintain a high level of quality control and self-correct errors before submitting final drafts.
Qualifications
- Fluent in English with exceptional grammar, spelling, and vocabulary skills.
- Must be a US-based resident (Portland, OR preferred).
- Proficient in Windows/Mac operating systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Fast typing speed (minimum 60 WPM) with high accuracy.

- Previous transcription experience is preferred but not always required for entry-level roles.
