Responsibilities
- Listen to audio recordings and transcribe them into clear, grammatically correct text with high accuracy.
- Proofread and edit transcribed documents for grammar, punctuation, and spelling errors.
- Follow specific client guidelines and formatting instructions for each project.
- Manage daily workload and meet strict deadlines to ensure client satisfaction.
- Identify and resolve ambiguous audio segments or technical issues with audio files.
- Maintain confidentiality and data security of all client information.
- Participate in ongoing training and quality assurance checks to improve transcription skills.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s degree preferred.
- Proven typing speed of 60+ WPM with high accuracy (95%+).
- Excellent command of the English language, including grammar and punctuation.
- Previous transcription experience is a plus, but we will train motivated candidates.
- Access to a high-speed internet connection and a quiet workspace.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and basic computer skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
