- Listen to audio recordings and convert them into clear, accurate text documents.
- Proofread and edit transcripts for grammar, spelling, and punctuation errors.
- Ensure strict adherence to client formatting and style guidelines.
- Meet daily and weekly production quotas efficiently without compromising quality.
- Communicate effectively with the quality assurance team regarding unclear audio segments.
- Utilize specialized transcription software (e.g., Express Scribe, Dragon) to streamline workflow.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum typing speed of 65 WPM (Words Per Minute).
- Proficiency in medical or legal terminology (depending on specialization).
