Responsibilities
- Transcribe audio recordings from medical consultations, legal proceedings, and corporate meetings with 98%+ accuracy
- Format documents according to client-specific style guides (AMA/APA, Bluebook, etc.)
- Verify medical terminology, legal citations, and proper names using research tools
- Adhere to strict confidentiality protocols for PHI and sensitive information
- Meet daily productivity quotas while maintaining quality standards
- Upload completed transcripts through our encrypted portal with timestamp verification
- Participate in quarterly calibration sessions for continuous improvement
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years experience in medical or legal transcription
- Certified Medical Transcriptionist (CMT) or equivalent legal certification preferred
- Proficient in Express Scribe, Dragon NaturallySpeaking, or similar software
- Exceptional typing speed (85+ WPM) with 99% accuracy
