Responsibilities
- Accurately transcribe medical dictation from diverse specialties (cardiology, orthopedics, radiology)
- Adhere to strict HIPAA privacy protocols for patient data
- Maintain 98.5% accuracy rate with quality assurance reviews
- Meet daily production targets (1-2 hours of audio per hour)
- Format documents according to client-specific templates
- Flag unclear audio or terminology for clinical review
- Utilize EHR systems for seamless document integration
Qualifications
- 3+ years medical transcription experience
- Credential: CMT (Certified Medical Transcriptionist) preferred
- Minimum typing speed: 85 WPM with 99% accuracy
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and transcription software (e.g., Express Scribe)
