Responsibilities
- Transcribe audio/video recordings across medical, legal, and general industries with 98%+ accuracy
- Format documents according to client-specific style guides (APA, AMA, etc.)
- Research and resolve unclear terminology using specialized databases
- Adhere to strict HIPAA/GDPR compliance protocols
- Meet daily/weekly productivity targets (60-120 minutes per audio hour)
- Collaborate with editors for quality assurance reviews
- Utilize ExpressScribe and other industry-standard software
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years professional transcription experience
- 90+ WPM typing speed with 98% accuracy
- Familiarity with medical/legal terminology (certification preferred)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and transcription software
- High-speed internet connection and noise-free workspace
- Strong attention to detail and grammar skills
- Ability to handle sensitive confidential information
- Self-motivated with excellent time management
