Responsibilities
- Listen to audio recordings and transcribe verbatim or with light editing as required.
- Proofread and edit transcripts to ensure accuracy, grammar, and proper formatting.
- Adhere to strict confidentiality and data privacy standards.
- Utilize specific transcription software and tools provided by the company.
- Meet daily production quotas and adhere to strict deadlines.
- Research and verify medical or legal terminology when necessary.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Previous transcription experience is highly preferred.
- Typing speed of 60+ words per minute with high accuracy.
- Familiarity with medical or legal terminology is a plus but not mandatory.
- Must have a quiet workspace and reliable high-speed internet.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and transcription software.
