Responsibilities
- Listen to audio recordings and transcribe content into written text with high accuracy and speed.
- Proofread and edit transcripts to ensure proper grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
- Adhere to specific formatting guidelines and client requirements for each project.
- Maintain strict confidentiality of all sensitive medical and legal information.
- Meet daily and weekly production quotas efficiently.
- Communicate effectively with the quality assurance team regarding unclear audio or complex terminology.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Minimum typing speed of 65 words per minute (WPM).
- Strong command of the English language, including grammar and vocabulary.
- Previous transcription experience is preferred but not mandatory for the right candidates.
