- Utilize transcription software (e.g., Express Scribe, Dragon) and foot pedals efficiently
- Proofread and edit transcripts for grammar, punctuation, and formatting consistency
- Meet daily productivity targets while maintaining quality standards
- Research and clarify unfamiliar terminology using specialized glossaries
- Collaborate with team leads to resolve ambiguous audio segments
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years professional transcription experience
- Proven typing speed of 80+ WPM with exceptional accuracy
- Familiarity with medical/legal terminology (certification preferred)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and transcription software
