In this role, you will be the architect of our visual identity, crafting stunning environments and characters that captivate audiences worldwide. You will work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment where your creativity will directly impact the user experience.
Responsibilities
- Asset Production: Create high-fidelity 2D sprites, environment art, and character illustrations using industry-standard software.
- Motion Design: Produce fluid 2D animations and motion graphics to bring static assets to life.
- Technical Art: Optimize assets for performance and ensure they integrate seamlessly with our game engine.
- Collaboration: Partner with Art Directors and Engineers to align visual style with technical feasibility.
- Mentorship: Guide and mentor junior artists, fostering a culture of excellence and innovation.
- Documentation: Maintain up-to-date style guides and asset documentation for the team.
Qualifications
- Experience: 5+ years of professional experience in 2D art, specifically within gaming or interactive media.
- Software: Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects) and a 3D/2D game engine.
- Portfolio: A diverse portfolio demonstrating strong composition, color theory, and character design.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate artistic concepts.
- Adaptability: Ability to work independently and adapt to changing project requirements and tight deadlines.
