We are looking for a visionary Senior 2D Motion Designer to join our award-winning creative team in San Francisco. In this role, you will bridge the gap between design and development, collaborating closely with our product and engineering teams to deliver high-fidelity motion assets that feel seamless and alive. You will be responsible for concepting, designing, and executing 2D animations for web, mobile, and social platforms.
Responsibilities
- Conceptualize and produce high-quality 2D motion graphics and animations for various digital platforms, ensuring brand consistency.
- Collaborate with UX/UI designers and developers to integrate motion assets seamlessly into the product lifecycle.
- Manage the entire animation workflow, from storyboarding and asset creation to final rendering and optimization.
- Create reusable motion libraries and style guides to maintain visual consistency across projects.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging trends in 2D animation, motion design, and interactive storytelling.
- Present design concepts and explain technical approaches to stakeholders and clients.
Qualifications
- 3-5+ years of professional experience in 2D motion graphics and animation.
- Proficiency in industry-standard software including Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro, and Illustrator.
- Strong understanding of animation principles (easing, timing, squash and stretch) and composition.
- A solid portfolio demonstrating a range of 2D animation styles and commercial work.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to articulate design decisions.
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Motion Graphics, or a related field.
