Responsibilities
- Design and implement robust 2FA/MFA architectures supporting TOTP, SMS, Push, and FIDO2/WebAuthn standards.
- Integrate OAuth 2.0 and OpenID Connect protocols into our enterprise Single Sign-On (SSO) ecosystem.
- Conduct rigorous security audits and penetration testing on authentication flows to identify vulnerabilities.
- Optimize authentication latency and ensure high availability for critical security checks.
- Collaborate with product teams to balance security requirements with exceptional user experience.
- Maintain and update our cryptographic libraries to stay ahead of emerging threats.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional experience in software engineering, with a focus on authentication or security.
- Deep understanding of cryptography principles, hashing algorithms (SHA-256, Argon2), and secure key management.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Go, or Java.
- Hands-on experience with hardware security keys (FIDO2/YubiKey) and biometric integrations.
- Strong knowledge of OWASP Top 10 and industry security best practices.
- Experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP) identity services.
