Responsibilities
- Define and execute the 2026 AI strategy roadmap, aligning technical goals with business objectives.
- Lead the research and development of next-generation machine learning models and neural architectures.
- Cross-functional leadership: collaborate with engineering, product, and executive teams to drive innovation.
- Establish best practices for AI ethics, safety, and transparency in all development cycles.
- Mentor and guide a team of senior data scientists and machine learning engineers.
- Identify emerging trends in AI (e.g., Generative AI, Quantum ML) and integrate them into our product strategy.
- Present complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and investors.
Qualifications
- PhD or Masterβs degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related technical field.
- 10+ years of experience in AI/ML, with at least 5 years in a strategic or leadership role.
- Deep expertise in Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, and distributed computing frameworks.
- Proven track record of delivering large-scale machine learning systems.
- Strong understanding of neural networks, NLP, or Computer Vision.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, capable of bridging the gap between technical and business teams.
- Experience in the San Francisco Bay Area tech ecosystem is highly preferred.
