Responsibilities
- Architect and optimize perception stacks, including LIDAR, Radar, and Camera sensor fusion algorithms.
- Lead the design of high-level planning and control systems for autonomous navigation in diverse urban and rural environments.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams of hardware engineers, data scientists, and product managers to drive end-to-end solution delivery.
- Implement robust safety-critical validation protocols and ensure compliance with industry standards (ISO 26262, SOTIF).
- Mentor junior engineers and foster a culture of technical excellence and innovation within the engineering team.
- Prioritize computational efficiency and real-time processing capabilities to ensure seamless vehicle operation.
Qualifications
- Masterβs or PhD in Computer Science, Robotics, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 5+ years of professional experience in autonomous vehicles, robotics, or related domains.
- Deep expertise in C++, Python, and relevant simulation tools (e.g., CARLA, Gazebo, ROS/ROS2).
- Strong background in computer vision, deep learning, and sensor fusion techniques.
- Proven track record of leading complex technical projects from concept to deployment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, agile environment.
