Responsibilities
- Architectural Leadership: Design and oversee the implementation of robust computer vision and perception pipelines for real-time object detection in complex urban environments.
- Sensor Fusion: Develop advanced algorithms to integrate data from LiDAR, radar, and camera arrays, ensuring unparalleled environmental awareness.
- Path Planning & Control: Engineer efficient, safe, and dynamic path-planning logic that allows autonomous fleets to navigate unpredictable traffic scenarios.
- Simulation & Validation: Lead the creation of high-fidelity simulation environments to rigorously test and validate safety protocols before deployment.
- Mentorship: Guide a team of junior engineers and data scientists, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous innovation.
Qualifications
- Education: Masterβs degree in Computer Science, Robotics, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field (PhD preferred).
- Experience: Minimum of 8 years of professional software engineering experience, with at least 4 years specifically focused on robotics, autonomous vehicles, or embedded systems.
- Technical Stack: Proficiency in Python, C++, and ROS (Robot Operating System). Experience with deep learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch) is required.
- Domain Knowledge: Deep understanding of SLAM (Simultaneous Localization and Mapping) and state estimation techniques.
- Problem Solving: Exceptional ability to troubleshoot complex, multi-variable systems and deliver scalable solutions under tight deadlines.
