Responsibilities
- Architectural Leadership: Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and microservices architecture using Python and Go.
- Code Quality: Write clean, efficient, and testable code while conducting thorough code reviews to ensure best practices and security standards.
- Performance Optimization: Identify bottlenecks in existing systems and implement optimizations to improve application speed and reliability.
- Cloud Infrastructure: Manage and deploy applications on AWS, utilizing services such as EC2, Lambda, and RDS.
- Collaboration: Work closely with front-end developers, product managers, and QA engineers to deliver end-to-end features.
- CI/CD Implementation: Strengthen our deployment pipelines using Docker and Kubernetes to ensure seamless integration and delivery.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of professional software development experience, with a focus on backend technologies.
- Languages: Proficiency in Python (Django/Flask) or Go, with a strong understanding of RESTful APIs.
- Cloud Mastery: Hands-on experience with AWS (Amazon Web Services) and containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Database Skills: Strong knowledge of SQL (PostgreSQL/MySQL) and experience working with NoSQL databases (MongoDB).
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Flexibility: Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment and adapt to changing project requirements.
