Responsibilities
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize backend systems and databases 24/7 to ensure zero downtime.
- Implement and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines to support rapid deployment cycles.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, QA, and Support) to resolve critical issues identified during off-peak hours.
- Conduct performance tuning and code reviews for the night-shift deployment queue.
- Document incident reports and technical procedures for handover to day-shift teams.
- Ensure strict adherence to security protocols and compliance standards.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in Backend Engineering, with a focus on high-availability systems.
- Proficiency in Node.js, Python, or Go.
- Experience working in night shifts or managing global time-zone operations.
- Strong knowledge of SQL/NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
