Responsibilities
- Oversee and optimize critical backend services during off-peak hours.
- Execute database migrations and system patches on weekends.
- Debug and resolve production issues with high urgency.
- Collaborate with the on-site SF team during handover periods.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments.
- Conduct code reviews and technical documentation for weekend operations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of experience in Backend Development (Python/Go/Java).
- Proven experience working in weekend remote shifts or shift work environments.
- Deep knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and containerization (Docker/K8s).
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
- San Francisco Bay Area residency preferred.
