Responsibilities
- Monitor and moderate real-time chat communications across multiple platforms (Discord, Slack, Twitch)
- Enforce community guidelines with precision and fairness while maintaining brand voice
- Investigate and resolve escalated user disputes within SLA targets
- Collaborate with product teams to identify and implement moderation improvements
- Train junior moderators on best practices and platform-specific protocols
- Analyze conversation patterns to proactively identify emerging trends or risks
Qualifications
- 3+ years experience in community moderation or customer support leadership
- Expertise in conflict resolution and de-escalation techniques
- Proficiency with moderation tools (Discord, Modbot, Nightbot) and analytics platforms
- Exceptional written communication with flawless grammar and cultural awareness
- Ability to work independently across time zones with minimal supervision
- Experience developing moderation policies and SOPs
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Psychology, or related field preferred
