Responsibilities
- Monitor and moderate real-time chat platforms across multiple channels (social, gaming, e-commerce)
- Enforce community guidelines with precision while maintaining brand voice consistency
- De-escalate conflicts and mediate disputes professionally
- Identify and report inappropriate content, harassment, or policy violations
- Collaborate with marketing teams to enhance user engagement strategies
- Maintain detailed moderation logs and incident reports
- Train junior moderators on platform-specific protocols
Qualifications
- 3+ years professional chat/content moderation experience
- Expertise in social media platforms (Discord, Twitch, Facebook, Instagram)
- Exceptional written communication and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong attention to detail and decision-making under pressure
- Experience with moderation tools (ModSquad, Modibot, etc.)
- Available to work flexible hours including evenings/weekends
