Responsibilities
- Monitor and moderate real-time chat platforms (Discord, Slack, Twitch, etc.) for compliance with community guidelines
- Investigate and resolve user reports of harassment, spam, or policy violations with discretion
- Develop automated moderation workflows using AI tools to enhance efficiency
- Collaborate with product teams to refine community safety features
- Train junior moderators on best practices and crisis management protocols
- Analyze moderation trends and provide actionable insights to leadership
- Document incident reports and contribute to policy updates
Qualifications
- 3+ years of professional chat/content moderation experience in high-volume environments
- Deep understanding of digital platform policies (Twitch, Discord, Reddit, etc.)
- Exceptional written communication skills with neutral, professional tone
- Proficiency in moderation tools (Discord MEE6, Nightbot, Twitch Modbot, etc.)
- Ability to handle sensitive situations with empathy and firmness
- Strong analytical skills for pattern recognition and trend analysis
- US-based remote work setup with reliable high-speed internet
- Experience with crisis communication protocols
