Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable cloud infrastructure solutions using AWS/GCP services
- Automate deployment pipelines using CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI
- Optimize cloud costs while maintaining performance SLAs
- Lead security compliance initiatives including IAM, VPC, and encryption protocols
- Mentor junior engineers through code reviews and architecture planning sessions
- Develop monitoring solutions using tools like Datadog, Prometheus, or CloudWatch
- Document technical specifications and architecture diagrams
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in cloud engineering with AWS/GCP certifications
- Proficiency in at least one scripting language (Python, Bash, or PowerShell)
- Hands-on experience with container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker Swarm)
- Strong understanding of infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, CloudFormation)
- Experience with microservices architecture and serverless technologies
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
- Excellent communication skills with remote collaboration experience
