Responsibilities
- Architect and deploy scalable AWS/GCP/Azure solutions using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)
- Lead container orchestration initiatives with Kubernetes and Helm
- Implement CI/CD pipelines for microservices using GitLab and Jenkins
- Optimize cloud costs while maintaining 99.99% system availability
- Mentor junior engineers through technical reviews and pair programming
- Collaborate with product teams to translate requirements into technical specifications
Qualifications
- 8+ years in cloud engineering with 3+ years in distributed systems
- Expertise in at least one major cloud platform (AWS/GCP/Azure) certification
- Proficiency with Kubernetes, Docker, and serverless architectures
- Strong background in Python/Go with experience in microservices
- Experience with observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK)
- Proven track record of leading cloud migration projects
