Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable cloud infrastructure on AWS/Azure using Terraform, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines
- Lead migration of monolithic systems to microservices architecture with serverless technologies
- Optimize cloud resource utilization while maintaining 99.99% uptime SLAs
- Collaborate with product teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Conduct code reviews and enforce security best practices (DevSecOps)
- Mentor junior engineers through pair programming and architecture sessions
- Document system architecture and create runbooks for incident response
Qualifications
- 5+ years of cloud infrastructure engineering experience with AWS/Azure
- Expertise in IaC tools (Terraform, CloudFormation) and container orchestration (Kubernetes, ECS)
- Strong programming skills in Python, Go, or Java
- Certification in AWS/Azure or equivalent cloud architecture credentials
- Proven track record of optimizing cloud costs and performance
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions)
- Excellent problem-solving skills with complex distributed systems
- Ability to work autonomously in a fully remote environment
