Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable AWS/GCP/Azure architectures with cost optimization at core
- Lead migration of legacy systems to serverless and containerized environments
- Develop CI/CD pipelines using Terraform, Ansible, and Kubernetes
- Conduct performance tuning and security hardening for cloud-native applications
- Mentor junior engineers through technical reviews and architecture sessions
- Collaborate with product teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Document infrastructure blueprints and runbooks for operational excellence
Qualifications
- 8+ years of cloud engineering experience with 5+ years in distributed systems
- Expertise in at least two major cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure) with certifications
- Proficiency in infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation)
- Strong background in Kubernetes orchestration and service mesh technologies
- Experience with observability stacks (Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog)
- Ability to optimize cloud spend while maintaining performance SLAs
- Track record of leading successful cloud migrations
- Excellent problem-solving skills and architectural judgment
