Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable cloud infrastructure on AWS/GCP with 99.99% uptime SLAs
- Lead containerization projects using Kubernetes and orchestration best practices
- Develop automated deployment pipelines with Terraform and Jenkins
- Optimize cloud costs through resource monitoring and architectural improvements
- Mentor junior engineers through pair programming and architecture reviews
- Implement security frameworks including IAM policies and network encryption
- Document infrastructure using Markdown and Confluence wikis
Qualifications
- 5+ years experience in cloud engineering with AWS/GCP certification
- Expertise in infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, CloudFormation)
- Proficient in Python, Go, or Bash for automation scripting
- Strong background in CI/CD pipelines and DevOps methodologies
- Experience with monitoring tools (Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana)
- Knowledge of network architecture and load balancing strategies
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ major cloud migration projects
