Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable cloud infrastructure on AWS/GCP using Terraform, Kubernetes, and serverless architectures.
- Lead migration projects from on-premises to cloud environments while ensuring zero-downtime transitions.
- Optimize cloud costs through resource monitoring, auto-scaling, and architecture refinements.
- Develop CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI to accelerate deployment cycles.
- Conduct security audits and implement robust IAM policies, encryption protocols, and compliance frameworks.
- Mentor junior engineers through code reviews and architectural planning sessions.
- Collaborate with DevOps and SRE teams to establish monitoring solutions (Prometheus, Grafana).
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in cloud engineering with AWS/GCP certification (Solutions Architect/Professional).
- Expertise in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation) and container orchestration (Kubernetes).
- Proficiency in at least one programming language (Python, Go, or Java) for automation.
- Strong background in CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure security best practices.
- Experience with cost optimization strategies and cloud-native application development.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with ability to troubleshoot complex distributed systems.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent technical certification.
