Responsibilities
- Design and implement cloud-native architectures on AWS/GCP with 99.99% uptime SLAs
- Lead migration projects from legacy systems to serverless environments
- Develop CI/CD pipelines using Terraform, Ansible, and Jenkins
- Conduct security audits and compliance certifications (SOC2, ISO 27001)
- Mentor 3+ engineers through weekly architecture reviews
- Optimize cloud spend through resource tagging and auto-scaling policies
- Document solutions in Confluence with interactive architecture diagrams
Qualifications
- 8+ years in cloud infrastructure with 4+ years in AWS/GCP
- Expertise in Kubernetes, Docker, and microservices architecture
- Certified Solutions Architect (AWS/GCP) or equivalent
- Proficiency in Python/Go for infrastructure-as-code
- Experience with multi-region deployments and disaster recovery
- Strong background in cost optimization and FinOps principles
- Excellent remote communication skills via Slack/Zoom
- Bachelor's in CS or equivalent practical experience
