Responsibilities
- Design and implement secure, scalable cloud infrastructure solutions using AWS/Azure services
- Lead migration of legacy systems to cloud-native architectures while optimizing performance
- Develop CI/CD pipelines using Terraform, Ansible, and Kubernetes
- Conduct infrastructure cost optimization and security compliance audits
- Mentor junior engineers through code reviews and architectural planning sessions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver SaaS products with 99.9% uptime
- Stay current with cloud certifications and emerging technologies
Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP)
- Expertise in infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation)
- Strong background in container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker)
- Proficient in at least one scripting language (Python, Go, or PowerShell)
- Relevant certifications (AWS Solutions Architect/Azure DevOps Engineer preferred)
- Proven track record of designing high-availability systems for enterprise clients
- Excellent communication skills with ability to translate technical concepts to stakeholders
- Must be based in Texas with reliable high-speed internet connection
