Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable AWS cloud infrastructure using Terraform and CloudFormation
- Optimize cloud costs and performance through architecture improvements
- Lead CI/CD pipeline automation using Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI
- Implement security best practices including IAM, VPC design, and compliance frameworks
- Provide 24/7 on-call rotation support for production systems
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct code reviews
- Document architecture decisions and create runbooks
Qualifications
- 5+ years of AWS experience with 3+ years in production environments
- Expertise in infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, CloudFormation)
- Strong knowledge of Linux system administration and networking
- Experience with container orchestration (Kubernetes, ECS)
- Proficiency in at least one scripting language (Python, Bash)
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect Professional preferred
- BS in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
