Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and optimize AWS/GCP infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation)
- Lead migration of legacy systems to scalable microservices architectures
- Develop CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployment
- Implement robust monitoring, logging, and security protocols (Splunk, CloudTrail)
- Provide 24/7 on-call rotation support for production systems
- Mentor junior engineers and drive cloud best practices across teams
- Research and evaluate emerging cloud technologies for strategic implementation
Qualifications
- 8+ years of cloud infrastructure experience with AWS/GCP certification
- Expertise in container orchestration (Kubernetes, ECS) and serverless architectures
- Strong programming skills in Python, Go, or Bash for automation
- Proven track record designing high-availability, fault-tolerant systems
- Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions)
- Knowledge of compliance frameworks (SOC2, HIPAA, GDPR)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
