Responsibilities
- Architect and optimize cloud infrastructure using Terraform, Kubernetes, and serverless technologies
- Implement CI/CD pipelines and DevOps best practices for 99.99% uptime SLAs
- Lead security compliance initiatives including SOC 2 and PCI-DSS frameworks
- Mentor junior engineers through virtual pair programming and design reviews
- Drive cost optimization strategies reducing cloud spend by 30%+ annually
- Collaborate with product teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Contribute to open-source projects and patent innovations in cloud automation
Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP) with 3+ years at senior level
- Expert-level proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/CloudFormation)
- Deep knowledge of container orchestration (Kubernetes, EKS, GKE)
- CI/CD mastery (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions)
- Strong background in cloud security (IAM, VPC, WAF, Shield)
- Experience with FinTech or high-transaction e-commerce environments
- AWS/GCP Professional/Architect certification required
- Proven ability to lead remote teams across multiple time zones
