Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable cloud infrastructure using Terraform, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines
- Lead migration of legacy systems to cloud-native architectures while ensuring 99.99% uptime
- Optimize cloud costs through resource monitoring and architecture improvements
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct peer code reviews
- Develop infrastructure-as-code solutions for multi-cloud environments
- Implement robust security protocols and compliance frameworks (SOC2, ISO 27001)
- Collaborate with product teams to align infrastructure with business objectives
Qualifications
- 8+ years in cloud infrastructure with 5+ years in AWS/GCP
- Expert-level proficiency in Terraform, Ansible, and Kubernetes
- Strong background in CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI)
- Experience with infrastructure monitoring (Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog)
- Proven track record of reducing cloud costs by 30%+
- Relevant certifications (AWS Solutions Architect, GCP Professional Cloud Architect)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- Excellent communication skills for stakeholder collaboration
