Responsibilities
- Architect and deploy resilient cloud infrastructure on AWS/GCP using Terraform and Kubernetes
- Optimize CI/CD pipelines and implement infrastructure-as-code practices
- Lead incident response and system troubleshooting for 24/7 production environments
- Mentor junior engineers through code reviews and technical documentation
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to implement security best practices (SOC2 compliant)
- Drive cost optimization initiatives across cloud resources
- Research and evaluate emerging cloud technologies for potential adoption
Qualifications
- 5+ years experience in cloud infrastructure engineering with AWS/GCP
- Expertise in Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD tools (Jenkins/GitLab)
- Strong understanding of networking (VPC, VPN, load balancing) and security principles
- Proficiency in at least one scripting language (Python, Bash, or Go)
- SOC2 compliance experience and familiarity with regulatory frameworks
- Excellent problem-solving skills with ability to troubleshoot complex distributed systems
- BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
