Responsibilities
- Design and implement enterprise-grade cloud architectures on AWS, Azure, and GCP platforms
- Lead technical workshops with stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable cloud solutions
- Develop infrastructure-as-code templates using Terraform, CloudFormation, and Ansible
- Conduct security assessments and ensure compliance with industry standards (PCI, HIPAA, SOC2)
- Optimize cloud resource utilization and cost management strategies
- Mentor junior architects and conduct peer code reviews
- Stay current with emerging cloud technologies and industry best practices
Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in cloud architecture and enterprise solution design
- Expert-level certifications in AWS (Solutions Architect Professional), Azure (Solutions Expert), or GCP (Professional Cloud Architect)
- Proficiency in container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker) and serverless technologies
- Strong background in CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation)
- Demonstrated ability to design high-availability, fault-tolerant systems
- Excellent communication skills with ability to present complex concepts to non-technical audiences
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
