Responsibilities
- Design and implement secure, high-performance cloud solutions using AWS/Azure services
- Lead migration strategies for enterprise-scale workloads to cloud environments
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align technical solutions with business objectives
- Develop infrastructure-as-code templates using Terraform and CloudFormation
- Conduct cost optimization analyses and implement FinOps best practices
- Provide technical mentorship to junior engineers and conduct architecture reviews
- Stay current with cloud technologies and emerging industry trends
Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in cloud architecture with AWS/Azure certification
- Expertise in microservices architecture and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Strong background in CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
- Experience with federal compliance frameworks (FedRAMP, NIST SP 800-53)
- Proven track record of leading complex cloud migration projects
- Excellent communication skills with ability to present to technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Relevant security clearance preferred
