Responsibilities
- Design and implement AWS/Azure/GCP cloud architectures for federal and commercial clients
- Lead migration projects from legacy on-premise to cloud-native environments
- Develop infrastructure-as-code solutions using Terraform/CloudFormation
- Conduct security assessments and compliance audits for cloud environments
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct technical reviews
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to optimize CI/CD pipelines
- Create architectural documentation and runbooks
Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in cloud architecture with AWS/Azure/GCP
- Expertise in containerization (Docker/Kubernetes) and serverless technologies
- Certifications: AWS Solutions Architect Professional or Azure Solutions Architect Expert
- Strong background in federal compliance (FedRAMP, NIST 800-53)
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation)
- Proven track record of leading cloud migration projects
- Excellent communication skills for stakeholder management
